redwoods, romance, butterflies, whimsy and impeccable taste
Megan Collins is the name of the bride, and the mastermind of this wedding that we did on April 30th, 2016 at the Henry Miller Library. Together with Lolo from Burst and Bloom doing the florals and us at Stardust doing all the rentals, pre-planning, day of coordination and set up, it was a dream partnership.
Megan’s vision was of a woodland wonderland, with a bounty of beautiful blooms and greenery, mixed with handmade decorations for the tables from carved wood and meticulously handmade mushrooms and butterfly sculptures.
Our handmade ceramic plates, floral vessels and brass candlesticks and a flood of candlelight made the evening truly shine with a warmth that had everyone there feeling like they were in a dream that they never wanted to end.
Catering by us! Sea Stars Catering served a family style feast of 100% organic fare
The bar was a vision in itself of handcrafted cocktails custom made for the couple by Katie Blandin Shea of Bar Cart Cocktail Company.
The guest book was designed by the bride…a vintage book with places for people to write in the pages
The seating chart was made by the bride, they were boxes of moss with the table names inside the boxes
The guest gifts were made by the bride and groom’s very own olive oil company in Carmel Valley
